I wish that I had the patience to do that kind of shopping. I also wish I had the time and energy sometimes. I think it's good to try to save money whenever you can, especially when you are married and/or have children. You did good mama!

lol wow. i love grocery shopping!!! but since i live with my mom, she does it. but dam, that's alot of groceries for $150. i usually have about 6 bags with $150. dam, i need to use your method. :)

You have a good method going. You should also shop on the perimeter of the stores. The cheaper and most economical items are located on the perimeter.

The grocery store is my SANCTUARY!!!! I love grocery shopping. Lol, to be honest, that's ALL you got for 150? Lol when you become more a pro grocery shopper you'll see how much 150 is REALLY worth. I could get that much for 50 dollars, lol. But that's a hell of a lot of food girl!!

LOL! Yeah, I forgot to use coupons this time around as well. But for us, $150 is good. We've spent more and gotten way less than that. I think it also depends on the stores around where you live too. One store sells syrup for $8 and another sells it for $3.50. But we also got three 2-lb bags of shrimp for $9 and 5 snow crab clusters for $8 that were not pictured.

And seafood is NOT cheap. So you did an amazing job. What are snow crab clusters? I'm a huge seafood fan, it's expensive so I usually stick to crab meat and shrimp. You seem to enjoy cooking! I love to cook.

You make grocery shopping sound like a science! Lol I guess it has to be like that though in order to save money and get the best deals. Although Josh & I are not married and we don't live together, we still do some shopping together. It seems like we always go grocery shopping when we are hungry and we end up getting a whole bunch of random snack foods. *sigh*

Girl I hear you Walmart is VERY expensive. Do they have a shop rite around there. I don't really do any shopping because I've been at home with my parents for a year, but I will be moving out in a few months and I do not look forward to going grocery shopping. It takes a lot of patience and budgeting. I will be using a lot of coupons along with my price plus card lol.
